Sent to The National Park Service

Thanks to the volunteers who helped my wife
and I when our canoe flipped at the rapids a mile
or so below the bridge (but above the Mongaup rapids)
on Memorial Day, May 31, 2004. Their expertise
was much appreciated as they got us and our gear
to shore so we could be picked up. We, and many
others I am sure, appreciate their unselfish efforts
and time taken to help those who make such
mistakes while canoeing.
