NCSP Provides Delaware River Sojourn Safety & Support

National Canoe Safety Patrol Members provided on water safety and logistics support for the 18th Annual Delaware River Sojourn June 24th-30th.  Members Dave Frei, Elizabeth Nicholson, Terry Cline, Dejay Branch, Troy Bystrom, Jane Simon, Adam DePaul, Shelly DePaul, Mitzi Addabbo, Mark Magnus-Sharpe and safety lead Dave Simon all provided on water safety.  A special thanks goes out to Jim Schulte, Ray Mei, Jim Mcloone, Mark Szupillo, Dave Frei, Troy Bystrom, and Dejay Branch who also provided on land support and logistics for the seven day river trip.  For the last 18 years, NCSP's involvement has made the Delaware River Sojourn one of the safest and most enjoyable river experiences for all levels of paddlers.  The river sojourn is the perfect opportunity to increase your patrol skills as a new member by working closely with seasoned veterans in the different parts of the Delaware River which each present very different sets of safety challenges.
